Problem-Based Learning (PBL)

This workshop is designed to cover the rationale of PBL based on effectiveness, planning and implementation.

Objectives:

By the end of the workshop, participants are expected to:

  1.  Identify the principles of PBL.
  2. Recognize the role of Who is Who in PBL.
  3. Implement PBL and its effectiveness.

Facilitator:

  1. Professor Mohi Eldin Magzoub, Professor of Medical Education  Prof  Magzoub is presently  the Chairman of  the  Department of  Medical Education, College of Medicine,  King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health  Sciences.  He plays a major role in the  establishment of  the  College of  Medicine,  King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.  His interest is in Problem-Based Learning and Community-Based Education.
  2. Dr. Andleeb Arshad,  Lecturer in Medical  Education,  College of  Medicine, King Saudi bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.  Dr. Arshad’s special interest is in Problem-Based Learning and Faculty Development.
